TAI Lubricants is the original supplier of specialty tools that have been designed to cut Kevlar®. Manufactured by Dupont, Kevlar® is an aramid fiber that is used in fiber optics, boats, sporting goods, armor protective vests, and many other applications where light weight and strength is required. Cutting this material is difficult. Following are the tools supplied by TAI to work with Kevlar®.

Kyocera CS 124 Ceramic Scissors	Kyocera ceramic scissors provide durable, smooth, reliable performance. Made of ceramic zirconium oxide (zirconia), their superior edge retention and durability makes them outstanding for lab, plant, office or home use. Ceramic scissors will not rust, corrode, conduct electricity or contaminate magnetic media. These ceramic scissors can be used to cut Kevlar®, fiberglass materials, Vectran®, magnetic tape, clothing, thread, cloth, paper, tape and other common materials.
